Re: Graphoon

Holy shit, it's beautiful!

Was it as painful to create as painful I think it was?

Prototype for a puzzle game; not much yet but the basic mechanics are already visible. Project link.

Re: Just a very early game prototype I'm working on (build 2

You have a very nice idea here. I like it so far, although you really need to add the attacks. Thanks, will do! It feels strange that you have to use the mouse to select and use abilities IMO. I'd like to see them mapped to the keyboard instead. Is it normal that the yellow tiles stay on screen aft...

Update!

Okay, well, I'm still interested in the opinions, but now I have some more to provide! Functionality is improved and extended; and from now, I'm gonna provide a "manual" of some kind too!

I know you'd prefer screenshots or a video, but neither can show much, I'm sorry. :/

Thunderrealm - game prototype (build 5 - FIRST MAJOR ALPHA!)

After a very long (1.5 year of) pause, I returned to LÖVE. Being inspired by stuff I've read and watched about making an actually good game, I created a very early prototype for a very loose idea I have. I have a plan of making a logic game with puzzles and a small amount of action based on "ab...

Yeah, most likely it needs to be made more efficient. As I said, it was mostly an experiment.

Re: "Cybercraft": a 2D RPG engine [temporarily final release

Might just be my old machine but I'm getting less than 1 frame per second =/ Might be the reason of the size of the map. Have no better idea. Also no offense but your engine's code seems a bit over kill, might want to shorten it up a bit. My main principle was to make the code readable and clear, s...

"Cybercraft": a 2D RPG engine [temporarily final release]

So, I had this Cybercraft project back in the day, but I abandoned it for months. It's not a heavy sequel, just a demo, with some smalll documentation. Therefore, instead of writing into the main topic, I make this new one, to show what I did so far. I hope with this little experiment, I can help yo...

Re: What's everyone working on? (tigsource inspired)

Well, possibly it's time to announce my project: CYBERCRAFT! Cybercraft is gonna be a cyberpunk GTA-RPG fusion in the future, but currently it's "just" a custom RPG-esque game engine I'm working on. I deny reinventing the wheel and recreaing the same RPG cliches, so I'm kind of trying to m...
