Re: Understanding draw operations and transformations [SOLVED]

Really helpful, thank you for walking me through it pgimeno.

Thanks for the suggestion _DaCoolOne_ but I've managed to find my way through now.

Re: Understanding draw operations and transformations

Well, what I had in mind is that if you have 20 cards to draw and you need to switch canvas 20 times every frame, that is going to hurt performance. There's a lot of "it depends". I don't know what you need exactly. Thank you, you guessed correctly. In my (simple) plan I had 80 cards drawn on the s...

Re: Understanding draw operations and transformations

Thanks for the tip. I've begun trying to get my head around them but that drawback of not calling too often could be a challenge - individual components of the canvas may change frequently. I'm still a bit confused by love.graphics.draw to be honest. I'm getting some really strange behaviour. I thou...

Really fun game thanks!

I found it pretty tricky and managed a high score of 15 points after 5-10 minutes of trying :)

Re: Endless Dungeon

I found another bug: Using the 4th level fire spell Fork Lightning(?) in an empty room freezes the game. Thanks again (chief bug tester!). Fixed and updated. This is much better. But why did you increase the initial waiting phase? As you can rest at a moment's notice, I don't want it to be abused m...

Re: snake12

Nice. Scored 14.

I liked that it was something different and the sense of impending doom as the square got smaller/moved quicker.

Re: Endless Dungeon

Agree to both. Thanks Xugro. In the latest update I'm playing with the settings of shops to try to get them a bit more useful. I completed a run through (on easy) with a character and ended up with over 200k of useless gold! I'm wondering about another way to spend gold as well at higher levels (e.g...
