It depends on how much each item is going to change the animations of your character. For example if the items are weapons and the character holds each one differently and they make them move differently it's going to be more work. I believe this is what you want, change 0.5 for different speeds.

The key string for the space bar was changed between these versions. In 0.9.2 it was " ", now it is "space". So that's one down.
