Hi and welcome to the forums!

Löve itself is the framework. I'm assuming you're looking for an IDE, an integrated development environment... not sure if such a thing exists yet.

Simple. You need to detect a collision between a triangle shape and a point. Löve doesn't have a built-in function for that. The internet has tons of examples though, just search it and adapt the code to lua.

You can already use stencils to "sort" sprites realtime though... at least i think it's possible.

Yes, it does on android and ios.
The love.touch module and all methods under it help tremendously; some have examples as well.

Usually, you want to set color before you draw something, not the other way around, it's more straightforward. And depending on what löve version you use, colors are in the [0,1] interval with the current versions, so {1 * 102, 1 * 51, 1 * 153, 1} is definitely wrong, unless you use something like 0...
