Re: Platformer Collision Issues

Is the player meant to be able to move? At the moment I can jiggle him left or right by 1 but he doesn't actually move!

Omar I had a look at some concerned joe videos and I love his face getting more and more anxious when he's standing still. Very expressive sprite work!

I don't know how to explain just how brilliant the original project here is. The face... the gameplay...

Re: Physics-based arena shooter

It turns out the second most recent Nvidia driver for his card simply didn't draw canvases at all - tested using your lighting example. After updating his drivers the game functioned as it should!

Happy ending.

Re: Physics-based arena shooter

But seriously though, I didn't know there was a delay in Windows. Interesting. So it's not something that can be fixed on the Löve level?

Not as far as we can tell, sadly!

Well the environmental lights could be stronger than the player's light - so he feels like they are helpful - or you could add a background texture they affect, etc.

This is pretty cool. I like how precise the controls are, although I am not a fan of this type of game. The lighting doesn't seem to have much impact as the player's light is so strong - might be worth making your inherent light much weaker so the torches stand out more. Also because the background ...
