Re: I'm running a Kickstarter for my project "Floof"

This is a great project with a realistic goal. Hope it does well! I'm curious, which editor did you use for designing the levels. :) Thanks! The editor is my own, at the moment it is in the early prototype stage ( you can see videos of it here ). I plan to rework it with a nice custom gui, make it ...

Re: How can I make a Map Editor?

Well, my game is a tower defense game, the things I'm having problems with is: 1. Grid map 2. Loading a tile map 3. Saving the map Saving and loading can be very easy, I'd recommend using something like TSerial , basically what this does is converts a table into a string, which you can then save to...

Re: Loveballs, A love2d Softbody lib

Love you lib, now we can do games like microtrip :P But I'd like to ask some changes if you don't mind. 1. Instead of having the global "Softbody" maybe you could local that variable in init.lua and in the then return it, like this: init.lua --Softbody lib by Shorefire/Steven --tesselate function b...

Re: Loveballs, A love2d Softbody lib

Thanks for all the help, by the way, I'm just busy lately with college, but I fully intend to re-write my code from scratch to incorporate everything I need when I've got some spare time. I'm confident I'll now have all the tools I need if I decide to continue with the softbody game. Awesome! If yo...

Re: Loveballs, A love2d Softbody lib

That's some really cool shit. Make sure the game has actual gameplay though instead of just physics based moving arounding stuff, since that gets old pretty fast. Yep, I'm going to try and keep the for-show bits down to a minimum, and have lots of physical puzzles and platforming around, like big s...

Just an update, I'm currently working on a project using this, well a slightly different version.
