Not really. I couldn't really care much about the privacy arguments (although they're important). I mainly use DDG for the !bang commands.

I don't know about any tutorial, but this thread has some info. The guy was trying to solve a "Portal" problem, but it's libraries are small enough for you to study how 3d can work using Love2D.
The 32-bit still doesn't work for me (Windows 7 Prof). IMO you shouldn't be spoiling us 32-bitters as we should've already moved on to better systems. I can do the workaround anyway, so you don't have to be bothered with the extra work.
