Re: Quads have borders from neighbours (Tileset)

Hmmm... Googled and found this: https://gamedev.stackexchange.com/questions/46963/how-to-avoid-texture-bleeding-in-a-texture-atlas It is not about Love2d, but the problem is common for computer graphics at all =) They suggests to move quads coordinates to the center of the pixels, not to the borders...

Re: Quads have borders from neighbours (Tileset)

You say doing it with the loeve2D engine is not preferred - why is that and can I just do it anyways? I can think about 3 reasons here: Double VRAM consumption: cropped area will be stored in separate texture, and it will be stored with others in common texture (sheet). Re: Quads have borders from neighbours (Tileset)

Welcome! :awesome: Here is a simple solution: set "nearest" filter for your texture https://love2d.org/wiki/FilterMode img:setFilter("nearest", "nearest") Look at 2) option on the attached screenshot. If it is just what you want, then no need to read further :3 But if you absolutely need :death: lin...

Re: Lower performance on better hardware?

Simple test: try to run your app in windowed mode with small window size. Generally if the overall performance depends on shader performance then you will see great increase.

Re: "Could not set write directory" even when t.identity is set

Welcome! :awesome: First: In the main.lua -> function init () you have this line: love.filesystem.setIdentity("") It is not supposed to be here, you already successfully set identity in the conf.lua After removing that line test save love.filesystem.write("test.txt", "test") will work. Second: Befor...

Re: Source:play() fails

Love 11.1 ? Hmm... Here was some threads with audio problems, and slime recommended to try nightly build of Love 11.3, which contains some audio fixes. I am not "authorized" to distribute nightly builds :o:, so here is the link to slime 's post: https://love2d.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=86928&p=...

Re: Image goes blurry when moving camera

You can google "monitor ghosting test" and find a lot of monitor's photos with this effect.
In some hardware review for monitors this "ghost test" included along with other technical parameters like color range, view angle, etc...
