Re: How to use bump.lua

Hey, I have been trying to learn bump since yesterday, I'm starting to understand :getSlide() and :move, :check. I have followed the examples up until step 7 where local _,_,_,_, is and I don't understand what I should put there. Up until step 6 I followed as well, the player doesn't move, why? I ha...

.fon fonts

Hey, I tried loading this windows font, terminal fat.fon

It's a .fon file, and it seems it won't up in size. I'll attach a .love file.

Re: Player look at mouse

Lets say:

Code: Select all

function screenToWorld(sx,sy)
  return sx-tx,xy-ty
end

function worldToScreen(wx,wy)
  return wx+tx,wy+ty
end
So world to screen is what I would put in the love.translate function as wx and wy?

Player look at mouse

Hey, I tried to find how to make the player look at mouse, I found the atan2 function: function angle(x1, y1, x2, y2) return math.atan2(y2-y1, x2-x1) end Then I searched some threads and found that love.translate does not translate the mouse coordinates. So to make it simple, how do I translate mous...

Re: body:setAngle() so that it points toward the mouse.

I guess body:setAngle() is for love.physics, which I haven't learned yet.

I'm hand-crafting this player look at mouse and I must have off-set problems or something from love.translate because when I move my mouse coordinates aren't moving along.

Re: body:setAngle() so that it points toward the mouse.

I want to do the same thing. And it seems the player points in the opposite direction of the mouse. And when I walk it slows down?
