I'm guessing enemy.img doesn't exists or isn't an image that has a "getWidth" method.

I emailed them once asking about concerned joe.
Thanks for reaching out.
The game's design changed and it became Move or Die instead, so everyone who got the early access got whatever we had of concerned Joe back then, and a Move or Die steam key.
I didn't get a steam key.

This will only be true if x is exactly -10. Depending on how you're manipulating it, X might never be exactly -10. What you should do is something like this

This checks if x is lower or equal to -10.

There are ways to do what you describe. But you'd be better off just using a tile map editor like tiled. Tiled can export to .lua files so it's not hard to load them into your game. Plus there's a library called "sti" that can handle it for you.
