Re: Help. Who have had this error. on Google Play Store

You need to use LOVE 11.2 or later to be able to submit APK to Play Store. I think it's possible to compile 0.10.2 for ARM64 (YMMV) but it doesn't worth my time.

Re: Android full screen with buttons always on

That's interesting. Thanks for the heads up. Anyway looks like I got your issue. Unfortunately it's not possible as immersive mode implies hidden soft buttons. Setting fullscreen always hides notification bar and soft buttons. In development branch, cutout mode is set to LAYOUT_IN_DISPLAY_CUTOUT_MOD...

Re: Get image from gallery in android?

Not sure if this is possible with plain Lua. You always have to interact with Java code, but here's the overall steps 1. Write code which loads default image picker (usually gallery, provided by system in recent OS) and return its contents. 2. Write a JNI bridge for that function. 3. Write a Lua bin...

Re: Android full screen with buttons always on

It's something have to do with sticky immersive mode if I'm right. LOVE used to have its own "immersive" mode but turns out it causes race condition issue because SDL also has its own immersive mode code, so I removed it. In 11.2, you should get first image because it always preserve the notch area ...

Re: Android full screen with buttons always on

This trickier than I thought. Unfortunately you'll have to wait until I have new devices with virtual navigation buttons like your phone, since my current phone has dedicated space for navigation buttons.

Re: Android full screen with buttons always on

This is caused because LOVE 11.3 fullscreen code conflicts with SDL. I've fixed this in development branch of love-android. If you don't mind recompiling then you can use that branch, but make sure to checkout the stable LOVE submodule repository.

Re: [Proposal] Better multimedia formats.

To add, FLAC has been supported since 11.3 , but FLAC encapsulated in Ogg is not, due to LOVE treat Ogg as Vorbis at the moment. To workaround that, you can rename the extension to something else like ".whatever" and LOVE will try to test every possible audio decoders instead. That being said, I hav...

Re: Calling C dll from love2d

That's being said, mixing DLLs between different (MSVC) compiler can cause problems. At first, I'd look at "lslib" variables. The luaL_reg should be terminated with {NULL, NULL} to indicate the end of functions to register, so. luaL_Reg lslib[] = { {"func1", func1}, {"func2", func2}, {NULL, NULL} };

Re: Help(this is mobile) the scaling messing up the accuracy on mobile.HELP?

In mobile devices, notably Android, the DPI scale is most likely > 1, so you have to use love.graphics.getDimensions() instead of love.window.getMode(). The former returns the dimension of your drawing operation in DPI units while the latter returns pixels, which is not what you want.

Re: Building APK

Make sure to clone the submodules along with the repository. git clone --recurse-submodules https://github.com/love2d/love-android I added that check because often people did not clone the repository correctly. I should probably updated the readme to include this notice. EDIT: Added important instru...
