Re: Has anyone here tried MonoGame/XNA ?

Thanks Pash for your response.

I know MonoGame is basically implementing XNA API. I asked this because I never used XNA so I also don't have any ideas about XNA.

Our game will be 2D platformer but we may also need some shader effects too(we both are starters and never used shaders yet).

Has anyone here tried MonoGame/XNA ?

Hello everyone, This is not a post on FrameworkA vs. FameworkB holy wars, I just wanted to know what experienced Löve2d programmers think about MonoGame. Is it more low/high level ? What features does it have that Löve2d doesn't have ? Or other way around ? What are philosophical differences between...

Re: JELLY

Sorry for off-topic question but, why are you putting semicolons at the end of statements in your code?

BTW: LOL it's so fun that I can't stop playing with it, thanks for this.

Source code is also a good demonstration for how much fun stuff can be done with < 150 lines of code.

Re: Isömap 0.071 released

I really like this. I'm planning on making the visual element of my game isometric, this is great inspiration. I especially like the ability to shift the viewing angle; I suspect this is achieved through manipulation of the way the map is rendered (using primitives). I wonder, is this sort of mecha...

Re: Isömap 0.065 released

The rotation is awesome!! Can you also make it rotate around the z-axis? I will have a look at the free movement version later. no, the code has several limitations that i can't break for now the grid drawing calculation formula is something like x = (gx-gy)/tw y = (gx+gy)/th - gz*tz where x and y ...

How to set body of a terrain in love.physics ?

I was planning asking this in IRC but thanks to my school dorm's firewall settings, I couldn't connect to IRC. So I was trying to create a terrain with love.physics ChainShape. I'm creating and drawing the shape but I think I couldn't manage to set a proper body to it because my dynamic object just ...

Re: Löve Frames - A GUI Library

Thank you for this great library!

I'm considering using it for one of my projects, I need text inputs with multiple lines, does this have one? I can't see it in demo.
