Re: Odd issue when running as .love or .exe

You are indeed correct, changing from "Home" to "home" does indeed solve the issue. I forgot that vrld's Gamestate.registerEvents modifies a lot of the default love callbacks, I should have check that out first. Thank's for your help. PS. Is my method of loading in loads of image...

Re: Odd issue when running as .love or .exe

Hi there, thanks for your response. Sorry about Mega, it was the first site I thought of to upload too. I'll use alternatives from now on; Although there are a lot of image files, only around 3 to 4 Mb worth of them are loaded in at the beginning. Is there a better way to go about handling large qua...

Odd issue when running as .love or .exe

Hi guys. I have a small project which I have been working on for a few weeks now, and it works fine in the IDE I am using (Zerobrane Studio, it's great!). I can't quite wrap my head around SpriteBatches though. They seem somewhat akin to drawing tiles from a tilesheet...

A few questions from a Lua/Love2D newbie.

Hi there guys! Firstly, although I would not consider myself a 'professional' coder (more of an occasional 'hobby programmer'), I have worked on and off for nearly 4 years developing applications and programs in both Java and ActionScript 2/3 (Flash). I first discovered Love2D last year, but never r...

Re: Code Doodles!

I made a fun little bezier/quadratic/cubic/... curve creator and thought I'd share it here. The code is a little messy (not optimized at all, but can run fine with even 300+ static points on my crappy laptop), but there are sporadic comments. I hope someone likes it :) https://love2d.org/imgmirrur/P...
