Re: Sixty-Three Fires of Lung

Update: I am currently working on the part of the game where 0 HP actually counts as "fallen", and thus making "game over" or "victory" possible. Once that's done I've the basics of the combat engine in order, although there's still a lot to do after that in the combat ...

I created the Kthura system myself in the BlitzMax language, and I've created an exporter that makes it easily read by a Lua based system, such as LÖVE. This is a screenshot of the Kthura editor in action while designing part of the map you see i...

Re: Can't Run Games?

The screenshot makes clear that there must be a conflict or something between love and Windows somehow. We can yank about specific errors, but as Microsoft does not appear to see fit to show these.... I do support kbmonkey's idea to run love with an empty main.lua file and nothing else. If it crashe...

Re: Free Music Resource

As I see you here, and also on Game Jolt (where I post under my real name "Jeroen P. Broks"), I can't help to wonder, on how many forums do you post your work, and how much time does that take? ;)

Re: MoonScript & love

MoonScript is a whitespace sensitive language. This means that instead of using do and end (or { and }) to delimit sections of code we use line-breaks and indentation. Ooh, one of the things of which I am still not sure if I should love or hate Python for that. So I don't know if I should love or h...

Re: What's everyone working on? (tigsource inspired)

I am really busy.... First of all my Cynthia Johnson project -- https://tricky.gamejolt.io/cynthia although this is more a project to prevent myself from getting rusty than a serious project. I am right now working hard on the preparation works for a jRPG. I've written several of those before ( http...
