So i take it...i place the kudolib library into a .lua file and place it in my game(s) folders and call different functions from it ?

What is a library ? Do i need one to make a game ?? Whats its purpose ? I'm a noob to every thing that is programming, so more or less lament terms are preferred :P And also, what is a good way to start creating games, more or less a work flow, one that doesn't have me ummm getting confused and clus...
