Re: Kurosuke (working title)

Gimme an evening to iron out all the bugs. For example, setIcon doesn't seem to actually work, even though I'm pretty sure I got it to work when I was playing around with 0.7 a few weeks ago (see below code). Also the way I quit the game seems to create errors, at least on WinXP (am at work, so can'...

Just to confirm, love files created by others are rendering properly, correct?

If so, could you post some code that you have tried?

Re: What's everyone working on? (tigsource inspired)

Would I Ever! I'm not familiar enough with that English expression. I can detect some emphasis, but I'm not sure it is positive or negative. It's positive. It started out as a negative a long time ago ("Would I ever betray you?"), but turned sarcastic, and is now generally voiced with ent...

Re: My own action adventure engine

Why are so many people lately trying to bypass dt? Because it's not that well explained on the wiki. If you search for dt in the wiki the results are kind of a mess. It's first explained in the Hamster Ball tutorial, pretty far down the page. We really need a tutorial just for combining dt with ani...

Re: Kurosuke (working title)

Depends. I rather like it as a heading font (for stuff like logos, menu headings etc) but as a dialog font it's not the best. I'll probably end up homebrewing my own in Fontforge by the end of the project.

Kurosuke (working title)

Kurosuke preview.jpg This is my first real Love game. It's a platformer whose source is very very loosely based on Lovely Mario Bros by Deecodeuh (mad props). The story is that you're a microscopic life form, living in the retina of a human being. Specifically, you're running around on a floater, t...

Re: Particle spawn radius

Think of the emitter like a water hose. You can change the hose's angle and flow etc, but to have multiple starting locations you'll need to shake the hose around.
