Re: Lovox - Load and render voxels in Love2d

Hey, I'm the guy who made Sprit3r, cool that you mentioned it. I was wondering, do you do any optimizations when it comes to rendering, or just drawing images on top of each other? I wrote a similar render system for my Ludum Dare game, and I found it to be fairly slow especially with love.js for th...

Would anyone be interested in playtesting Depths of Limbo?

If someone has the time to play and write some feedback that'd be amazing!
Just tell me and I'll send you a link to the latest build.

Re: LD37 - Final Boss (LOVE3D)

This is really cool! Great job on the game - the graphics, voice over and animations are superb for a 72h game, although the attack animation would be more smooth if if allowed you to walk at the same time. I died the first time around. On the second try the game unfortunately crashed, there wasn't ...

The Cold Cabin [LD37]

Hey guys! Some of you probably saw my Ludum Dare game already in the "Ludum Dare 37 - Jam together!" thread. Anyways I thought I'd share it here with a .love file as well to make it easier for you to play/look at the source if you're interested. First, here's a couple gifs: https://love2d....

That was a short but cool experience, good job! The storytelling was quite good, and the graphics are nice. I'll make sure to leave my vote on your entry!

Its tons of fun! And if you get in the "zone" you can work really effectively. I probably work harder during LD than anything else haha.

Re: Ludum Dare 37 - Jam together!

Performance was good but not stellar, somewhere around 20 FPS I think. Thats good to know. It found it difficult optimizing for the web since I don't alot about love.js and web dev in general, but thats not too bad for such an "old" laptop! There's and FPS counter in the game btw, just ho...

Re: Little shooting game

I used an object oriented library called "classic". Is it any good? Do you notice any flaws in the code? Do you recommend the object oriented approach? Why? Loads of questions here. I haven't used classic myself, but from what I can tell its a fairly simple OO library. I use 30log but fra...

Re: Ludum Dare 37 - Jam together!

@evgiz: Beautiful game, and the music was good too. Is it really that short? Thank you! Yeah the game is fairly short, I tried to focus on polish instead since people playing LD games usually don't have much time anyway :P Also my first time making proper music so glad to hear it wasn't awful haha ...
