Re: [LD34] Super Space Invader

I'm running Debian so my Love version is fixed to the repository version.
Oh right. Sorry, I'm a noob with Linux. :P

Well obviously. But who uses a 1024x768 for a desktop these days?

Re: [LD34] Super Space Invader

Thanks man!

I forgot about laptop screens. :P Hopefully it's not too much of an issue for anyone who isn't familiar with LÖVE.

Well I guess it requires 0.9.2 then (that's what I developed it on). You can't upgrade on your system?

[LD34] Super Space Invader

My crack at the two-button theme. It's a highly explosive shooter blending space invaders, bullet hell, some Vlambeer, and other influences. Give it a rate if you're in LD, and I'll be sure to give yours a try.

Re: middleclass & extras: middleclass 3.0 is out!

assert(MyClass:new():isInstanceOf(Object)) And if a table is not a class, that code will throw an error, unlike in Middleclass 2.0 where you could pass any value to instanceOf and it would return false instead. I think the ease-of-use and flexibility afforded by global variables makes them worth it...

Re: Your Ludum Dare 27 Entries

Well, here's my results. Not as good as last time, but there were a lot of good games this time round. However, this time I think I was the highest rated LÖVE game, so that's definitely something I can be proud of. Congratulations to all who made it through. :) #45 Fun 3.80 #47 Overall 3.87 #48 Them...

Re: Most frustrating moment?

Can't remember the details of most of them, as majority happened a year or two ago. One of them was to do with the game segfaulting whenever I destroyed a body's shapes, then destroyed the body.
