Re: Moonring, a retro RPG by the guy who made Spellrazor [DEMO]

If you expect to be able to pick from a sea of text options in a list, you'll *never* think of typing in something by hand (because you've not seen the option, so why would you expect to suddenly start typing in text?). I feel like you assume that the UI always has to be exactly the same and you mi...

It's a good thing löve has the ability to sidestep that issue with using scancodes instead of keyconstants, yeah? :3 Yes, but many devs don't use scancodes in their (mostly smaller) games, thats the real problem here, myself included :neko: . I just tend to avoid y and z entirely.. (and special cha...

Re: Moonring, a retro RPG by the guy who made Spellrazor [DEMO]

Is Controller support something you guys would expect in a classic roguelike or Ultima game? I'm not the best person to judge since I've never played an Ultima game in my life and I just figured out how the dialog-system works - so I can't say if I would expect it in this type of games. Depending o...

Definitely, I feel like the game should support controllers as well. Maybe with a radial menu to select the actions or something like that :)
But yeah, great work so far.. looks and feels really good.

I tested it on desktop Chrome / Chromium as well - same issue. :P

Re: Love.js - A Direct Emscripten Port

I noticed that Another Kind of World has some visual problems like the stuff seen on the image (background tile not visible etc). I wonder what is causing this as this doesn't happen in the normal version of the game. Also for me the music cuts out right after it started playing in the love.js port....

Re: Feudal Kingdoms - One Kickstarter Week Left

This is looking really good :) Unfortunately not my type of game, but this is really remarkable for a LÖVE game none the less. Different localizations, a great looking UI .. Did you used an existing UI library or is it written from scratch? btw you need to use your video key (yvTcm_FdIFA) instead of...

Both are not perfect, but I'd prefer the bottom one.. the pixel art isnt that great while the child drawing style is more unique and appealing.

Re: SYL save your life

Hello oldteen, welcome to the forums  Fun game, feels quite polished. A few things I noticed: I managed to miss the exit quite a few times when it was on the left/right side, even with the green markers around it. At first I seemingly looked for some kind of visible hole in the wall or somethi...

Re: Tri0: Lost Aliens

Seems like you got quite a variety of content in here, neat. I have to say, the trailer seems really random to me with the tomato (which does look more like an onion?) and the jump cuts between the different scenes (might be the well known german sense of humor on my end ;)) .. also the music sounds...
