Re: Columns! 0.0.1
It's probably because the shared graphics doesn't support it. I guess a "segfault" (segmentation fault, right?), it didn't spit back a trace message, it only froze after the "made with LOVE" screen, and then crashed. At least you got to see the title screen... I wonder if ...

Re: Columns! 0.0.1
Interesting. I did use po2 everywhere I handle images or framebuffers. Does it spit a backtrace or does it just segfault?BlackBulletIV wrote:Did you use Po2 framebuffers? On my MacBook it crashes.

BTW, today I stumbled upon a super charged version of this program, not sure if I'm liking it or not yet.

Re: Columns! 0.0.1
Thanks guys, glad you like it! :ultraglee: The last one I played had colored cubes with arrows surrounded by black blocks. I didn't understand what that was. Yeah that level is a bit too difficult for its own good. The arrows indicate that when you destroy a gem it will destroy all gems in the direc...

Columns! 0.0.1
Here is Columns! 0.0.1. Since it uses framebuffers, I'm figuring some of you won't be able to test it. I tried to make a video with fraps on a windows PC but it did not render some of the stuff that is drawn from a framebuffer (weird). Anyway, I'm attaching some screen shots for now. There are only ...

Re: Vault - Data Storage Lib
Oh you mean infinite recursion, or references. Currently, it crashes with stack overflow, lol. But how would I deal with this? The only way I could think of is to put every unique table in a variable (in the generated Lua code), and then for every table encountered check against all the other table...

Re: Volley Brawl is for sale in the USC
Since the .love package is what you get when you pay, and it contains the source code... would it be ok for the publishers if the source was hosted somewhere, say, code.google or github? That way many ppl would have access to the game for free (it would be almost donationware) but in a bittorrent wo...

Re: Love testing framework?
TDD lover here. In plain Lua, however, there are some facilities. I use telescope for testing middleclass. Others prefer luaunit. I use telescope too. I try to isolate as much game logic as I can from the rendering/input part, and test just that logic (how cool would it be to be able to use the sam...
