Re: [linux] Sound problem
I think the sdl mixer is good and enough. Multiplying the dependencies will make löve less KISS, especially if it's for the inclusion of old unmaintained things.
Just muting the game if there is no sound card would be enough too (like on several other sdl project, like pygame I think)

It's a great introduction anyway, and in this one you should maybe present a few cool features or a showcase of some games (like lovetris...)

I've opened a sourceforge project: http://hgonfanon.sourceforge.net/
I'd really like to have some contributors to help me working on it!

Re: Evaluation skipped?
it would be easier if you could provide the full .love file with pictures and such so we could try it for real.
As far as I can understand, it seems with a loop in your KanaColumn function, it may work better... (I may be wrong though)

It's something I really couldn't live without because it's so conveniant. If you like Lua and especially Löve because it's all about KISS ( h...

Re: A console thing
I don't know if it's because I'm on linux or it's using an US keyboard, but it's not working. In a windows virtual machine with virtualbox, it's working though (and the keyboard is qwerty)
It looks cool anyway!
