Framerate drops after a few minutes in Mac
I've been finding that my game's framerate drops to unplayable levels after a few minutes of gameplay. The weird thing is that this only seems to happen on Mac when the game is through an application bundle or a .love file. Running the uncompressed source directory on Mac doesn't give me this proble...

I could try next week try do some anims of main char if permitted. You don't mention the source of it. I drew the character myself. :neko: Sure, I'll let you take a crack at some animations. Update: I've implemented those back and cancel buttons for the volume prompt and key prompt screens that I s...

Re: Warp Run (Beta)
Yeah. I unfortunately do not have the skill, time, or patience to create actual animations of the characters. The static character images is something I've simply come to live with.coffee wrote:As downsize only the "still" image of the player.
Of course, I wouldn't say no to any donated sprites.

Re: That Falling Box Game
I had trouble keeping track of where I was too. I think it was the constantly shifting camera view that did it. I understand if you were trying to make your game completely crazy, but still.coffee wrote:No one should make so much effort to track and focus his own player.

Re: Delay when toggling fullscreen; updates still happening
That said, you probably shouldn't be letting the player set the fullscreen option while the game is running. This should be handled in a menu where it doesn't matter if a few frames are missed. Yeah, I've move fullscreen and other screen options to the options menu you get at the title screen since...

Re: That Falling Box Game
Appdata is just what it sounds like - It's a place that your operating system reserves so applications have a location to store their data, like saved games and user settings. If every application saved its information to the profile root then it would get messy really fast. Sadly, precious few com...

Re: That Falling Box Game
I thought putting it in the appdata directory would mean less clutter in my home directory, since I'm not likely to move my profile files around that much.Kingdaro wrote:i thought it'd be more convenient for players if I put it in the home directory. :/
