i used to play a game called ROBLOX, object orientated sandbox(3D), has Script objects that.. well.. do whatever you code them to, playing with other coders allowed me to learn and develop my understanding of LUA and what you can do with it, its now the only language i fully understand
i dont use Lua in gmod, i just mess about with wire, i can code the E2 chip but still learning, i like complicated stuff that, half the time, people dont understand.

small surface-lighting demo, using dot product. the lines inside the circles represent the dot product and the lines coming from the mouse are lines to visible surfaces.

for some reason it didn't like it, so i left it out, also it caused a major slowdown.
