Well the environmental lights could be stronger than the player's light - so he feels like they are helpful - or you could add a background texture they affect, etc.

At the moment I am banging my head against canvases but later on I shall definitely correct some of those signs for you!

What you have so far is great! Managed to beat your demo, but it took me a long time to discover the fall-off-platform-then-jump maneuver for the first level... Thank you for sharing.

Awesome game!
It crashed on me twice, but I kept playing and I beat it, this should tell you how addictive it is :D

Could you explain the "crash" a bit more ? :)

Sure! Both times it happened when I interacted with an object.
The first time I bumped into the trampoline from the side rather than from the top - it froze and then windows shut it down (so it was technically a hang). The second time the same happened when I ran into a spinning wheel.

I know that sometimes LOVE had issues with audio in the past, but my sound card is burned so I have no clue what was going on with the sound at that point :/

Could be the collision itself, or since both objects create particle effects the problem might stem from that.

I spent some time and trying to reproduce it and eventually got this:

It froze for a while (notice the not responding), but this time I waited 1 minute or so and eventually got better and resumed as if nothing had happened. Hope this helps.

I tweaked your code to be playable with a xbox controller and.. It becomes a fantastic platformer !
Any chance we could try more levels ?
