Ah, reminds me of my first game.

I lost and my score went to -5, even though I was never hit... Darn those invisible projectiles!


I second adding effects, nothing more rewarding than watching them asplode.

ahh thats weird, never had a problem regarding that :/... any enemy that gets past the bottom of the screen reduces your score by 5 as a penalty to your points, but i gathering from what you said no enemy had got past you?
