[LD29] Refuge

Post by baconhawka7x »

Refuge is a game where you are trying to reach a safe, underground bunker before a massive meteor hits the earth.

Jump and duck to avoid obstacles so you can reach safety in time!

screens (Ah, sorry they are so huge, not sure how to fix them):

Very nice game! Very hard, too!
I like the art and music, too!
One complaint (and it may have been something you did intentionally): I feel like the jumping wasn't very responsive, either.
I won with 1 second left:

EDIT:
-1 seconds left lolwut

(Sorry for double posting)
I should mention that the timer for powerups goes down while the game is paused. Obviously not too important, but just thought I should let you know.
Also, just as a personal opinion, I feel as if the menu should be navigable through keyboard, not mouse, as the whole game is played with the keyboard.
Nice game! :)
