Slate, a two-button adventure game

Post by Ulydev »

Hello everyone!

During Ludum Dare 34, we've made Slate, a fast-paced action/adventure game using only two buttons.

Grrr restarting at stage 1... :)
lg.newImage("cat.png") -- made possible by lg = love.graphics
-- Don't force fullscreen (it frustrates those who want to try your game real quick) -- Develop for 1280x720 (so people can make HD videos)

I really like this. The glitchy (?) visuals and audio are pretty fun, and the game is fun! It's fun! I like! I can't think of anything meaningful to say!

Hi everyone!

I got a lot of feedback from Ludum Dare, saying that the arrows weren't visible enough and that they made the game very unpleasant to play.

This said, I decided to tweak them a bit to hopefully fix this issue.
