I use Notepad++ to script in Love. It's pretty rad, you can choose the language from a huge pool, and it'll automatically recognize the syntax. What about you, fellow Lovers?

I like Programmer's Notepad.

Quite similar to Notepad++, but a little less cluttered I find. It doesn't have as many plug-ins but the important stuff is built-in.

On windows I usually use SciTE (the one that comes with the lua distribution), and on linux I use either vim or geany (geany has some nice features, and I use it for LÖVE itself too), depending on whether I am working in a console.

I use Sublime Text, love the design and is a much better alternative to N++ imo.

Under Linux, I use GEdit (for pretty much all coding). Windows, EditPad (though I do 99% of development under Linux).

Geany works beautifully on Windows as well.

I really never develop on windows, and if I do it for the engine itself I need to use msvc anyway.

I use Geany in both Windows and Linux. But I very rarely do any coding in Windows, as I have my workspace all set up in Linux already.
