Code: Select all

editors = {Sublime, NotepadPlusPlus}
for i, v in ipairs(editors) do
   if v.alreadyInstalled then
      print(v.name)
      break
   end
end
and Lua says Notepad++.
Seriously, I like NP++ and I'm too lazy to download and try out ST2, so I'll stick with NP++.
That isn't a smart reason to do so.

That doesn't change the fact that it's a bad reason. ;)

P.S. I'm not making or not even encouraging you, I don't care what you're using. So don't get my intentions wrong. :ultrashocked:

Cool it down, folks.
This is not supposed to be a debate about "Who's the coolest between Np++/Sublime"... That's much of a personal choice.
And in my opinion, I use Notepad++, because I started with it, and it serves his purposes aswell, to me. So I never felt the need to switch to another source cod editor.

Indeed, it doesn't imply that Sublime isn't good. Obviously, Sublime has its own features which makes it unique. And Np++ does have its own.
I just wanted to know what specific features you guys like when using Sublime.

PS: The best IDE to me is Edit.
Good old chap.

ROLFMAO!

I'm in a programming and robotics class, and we use ALMOST that EXACT same editor to program in Q-BASIC (an old MS-DOS program). *shakes head*

Yes, I agree. I feel like I started this, so I want to say this now:

I use Sublime. I think sublime is *AWESOME*. You can disagree. I don't give a s*** i you do. Use whatever editor you feel like, but I will still think Sublime is the best.

Ed is the standard text editor. ;)

So true.

I've tried a lot, from Fraise to TextWrangler to Kod And finally to sublime text.
