All my searches for a 2D engine kept pestering me about Löve...So I went and looked at it.

I honestly forget. I think it got mentioned on the Ubuntu forums.

Of course, I haven't done even one line of code with love. I mostly hang around to see what demos people come up with because I'm too ADHD to sit down and program for long periods of time.

I found it on the facepunch studios forums. Someone posted a thread about it so I thought I would check it out.

Brainstormed with rude to come up with a name for the project back in the day. A lot of horrible names were conjured up in those sessions...

Qubodup recommended it to me as an cool engine for a spoofing, hard game like "i wanna be the guy" or like "syobon action".
More information about it:

Sadly  i am not a programmer, just a graphic creator and level designer.
Is someone interested in programming that game?

Looking forward for your answer and other ideas.

BTW: How can i run a .love file under Ubuntu :?:
Klicking on it runs a archive manager.

Rude told me about it some time back (can't remember when), and I wanted in on it (good learning opportunity, I guess). Haven't had much time to read the code tho. So I ended up being a Linux maintainer.

I can't remember but I know that it was the sexy site that made me download it. (I dribbled all over my favourite jeans when I saw the site)
