I'm wondering if anyone has tried out Decoda (http://www.unknownworlds.com/decoda).

The ability to easily track every single variable in real time as they change is what attracts me most and is the only thing I wish I could do (I just use notepad++).

I haven't tried it but it does look really cool, I've heard several other game companies that use lua for scripting have started using it.
Speaking of Unknown Worlds, Natural Selection 2 looks really good, and its supposed to ship with a lot of tools (I think including decoda) for modding etc. hope it doesn't get delayed too much more.

I'd like to try it, I have access to it and everything, but it's Windows only

Have you tried emulating it on WINE, thelinx?

EDIT: Don't wine, just use WINE! Or drink wine. :awesome:

Having to use an emulator just to access an IDE seems like it would be canceling out the convenience factor.

Also, there's only a couple weeks left until you they cut off alpha access for new preorders.

Wine is no solution, it's only a temporary high and then you get hungover.
