Well, this image has 0 background quality. The one I'm asking for is also behind most page elements and only the top and top-left part can be seen kind of well. I would rather suggest something that is not one symbol, but multiple symbols (with small differences between them and hopefully not a repetitive pattern)

The other: ugly banners. Make them sexy by replacing with attachments!
I think you have to put them into Skins/common/
