Please don't delete tutorials

Post by suttonWilliamD »

Just a friendly suggestion, but could we stop the trend of tutorials being deleted when they're considered obsolete?

If you're making a tutorial, you should be including a conf.lua so everyone can easily see what version of love a game/example is written for anyway.

Most programming is not starting brand new projects (despite the contrary position you could perceive by looking at my github). :P I think it's important for new coders to get used to having *some* up to date documentation, but in reality, most of it could use some work. Working with old and incomplete information is mentally taxing enough without having to dig through archive.org or wiki edits to get to it.

If you're still reading this, make a public repo for your tutorial so people can practice contributing to open source projects.

Thanks
