Accessing game assets after game has been published

I downloaded a game that was made with love2d and I can't access it's raw files like the images used in game. How would I go about getting them?

Try renaming the .exe or .love file to .zip then open the archive.

Yes, that's what I'm trying to do to understand the program and have a little bit of fun on the side.

Yes renaming the .exe file or .love to .zimp file should help..Also u can try some other format for the same
