Best place to make a Devlog

Post by CrimsonGuy »

Hi just want to to consult you guys about a subject that some probably have way more knowledge than me. Its getting to the point where my small passion project can be shown to some extent to the internet, so i want to make a development log of my progress and add entries with the updates i make along the way, The things i'm looking for is good feedback about the design, graphics, gui, concept, etc. Also want to gain at least some visibility if possible among the ocean of indie games out there, the sites i've been looking at are:

- TIGSource forums, seem like a lot of devlogs are there an its mostly developers so can get some feedback, they also seem to prefer 2d pixel art games so my project can fit there.
- Indie DB, lots of games there and the staff seem very nice highlighting and sharing tons of different games all the time.
- Itch.Io, the seem to have a lovely devlog section https://itch.io/devlogs sadly not many games get comments or views, maybe because is kinda new.
- Love2d forum, probably will mirror my devlog here, but most threads on 'Games an Creations' dont get much feedback.

Maybe you guys know other sites or can give some tips on the options i have :3 .

Github is not bad for that (exemple : https://github.com/adnzzzzZ/blog). Github also give you a free static website (https://pages.github.com/) to do whatever you want.
