Spritebatch color?
Apparently love.graphics.setColor doesn't affect spritebatches, so, how can I draw a spritebatch as semitransparent?

Would an acceptable solution be to have the original images be transparent?

Sure. I would probably suggest just baking your own quick spriteBatch equivalent. It may not be equivalent within LOVE, but it'll work just as well, with the added bonus of being able to control transparency.TechnoCat wrote:workaround at best.ninwa wrote:Would an acceptable solution be to have the original images be transparent?

Not a bad idea, ninwa, but that means I'd have to have two copies of a very large number of graphics, so, no, not really. But thanks for chipping in.
