Visual 2008 vs Visual 2010

Post by _ex_ »

Hi there guys and gals :D

I'm trying to replace the Lua scripting with my own scripting system, just for fun, nothing to show yet.
So I was using VS 2010, but hell it is so slow!
So I decided to compile with 2008 and found that the included libraries are not the libraries used with 2010, and are old indeed
so I suspect there is not much love for 2008?

I would prefer to have all the libraries sources and includes in in src/libraries/..., etc
I'm going to do that but that would make my projects incompatible with trunk.
Doing this we can recompile the libraries from source code in 2008 or 2010 or mac.

I was curious if someone has done this (or it's using 2008 anymore to recompile LOVE).
Using the latest libraries would be the best,

Take care.

EDIT: I'm using tip
