Animation, png and gif and stuff.

Post by Joargr »

Hi, I've done a animation in the program Pixen on a mac.
When saving the animation there was just .GIF and the standard format to use the file in the program .PXA.
So I saved the animation as .GIF and loaded it into my game. Didn't work so I checked the tutorial again, found the image "he" used and saw that all the images were put together.
How do I put together all of my files into a file like that? A .png file that LÖVE can make a animation of?

It depends on the software you're using, but what you could try to do is copy every frame and place them next to each other. Maybe people with Macs and experience with "Pixen" can help you out?

Ignore the Pixen option as that's just a proprietary format for saving images with all the layers and stuff intact. It's pretty much the equivalent to Photoshop's PSD and Pixelmator's PXM formats.
