difference between love.exe and lovec.exe?

What's the difference between love.exe and lovec.exe in the windows download? I can't seem to find anything on the wiki or in the forums about this.

On Windows it's difficult to get löve to run with a terminal attached. In principle it's trivial: you just start it from an open terminal. But terminal on windows blow huge wangs and is basically worthless and you'll quickly find yourself devising hellish contraptions just to avoid using it. The "lovec" executable is a product of this issue being recognized, a special build that has a terminal attached when running without need to jump through any hoops.
