HTTPS (SSL/TLS) requests

Is it possible to make an HTTPS request (SSL/TLS) with Love2D?

I checked the wiki, but can only see information about how to do HTTP requests.

Not without the luasec binary module, to my knowledge. viewtopic.php?f=4&t=85389

Thank you for that info & sharing the link.
I might investigate a way for Love2d to use Android/iOS's HTTPS implementation to get this working for me
