Love.exe won't open at all

I've tried running Love2d on both Atom and ZeroBrane, Atom would return an error (without any error message which was extremely frustrating) using Love-ide. ZeroBrane, however, says the program is run in the output console but it's still not running. Opening the love.exe file manually too doesn't do anything and I've tried the 64-bit, 32-bit and installers/zips. Is there something that's not mentioned in the tutorial that I'm missing? I'm not sure what's going on

If you run lovec.exe from command prompt, what's the output?
