I started doing this game, some time ago, but I got stuck cuz my code skills sux, also my english.
collision gives me headaches.
So, I'm just posting it, maybe can inspire someone to do a better one or whatever.

Uhm i think you need to adjust your updating loop to the framerate with love.update(dt), because it's currently unplayeble for me..

For me it's playable.
I like how you've drawn the trees.
You should keep on going and ask in the support forum about your problem with collisions.

It reminded me the old Konami classic, Road Fighter. Cool and curious, because i've planned to do a remake of it a long ago, and even today i have this plan, but never worked on it (lazy, lazy man...)

The 3D effect just makes it gorgeous.

Cars with different colors!
Camera shake when hitting other cars!
Speedometer! Engine sounds!
Different game modes (against the clock mode, chasing mode, bust your opponent mode)!
