Post by jjmafiae »

this is just a UI library made by me its used in my wastelands of death game, david(he is my partner in the project :3) told me that it was a pretty good UI so i decided to release it for the people

download: http://geggames.com/RadUI.ZIP

license: http://opensource.org/licenses/zlib-license.php

the popup text/hint window
Image

documentation in the zip :3

this is made for newbies and people who dont like advanced things, people who like simple things :3

and of course you can modify any of the code ;)

also to use em:
hint thingy: popupText_spawn(titleText,insideText,buttonText)

popup message: nf_use(x,y,text,r,g,b,time)
x
the x cordinate

y
the y cordinate

text
the text its going to show
r
the red color
g
the green color
b
the blue color
time
the amount of time its going to be shown

and when i say rad i mean radioactive/radiation not rapid application development

No examples of use besides the lua files? (No screenshots either?)
Not flexible at all for new projects unless you modify it?
No reason to use it over LoveFrames or Quickie? No thanks, I'll pass.

It's also not very rad.

Do you know what an edit button is?
I'm just asking.

Because you shouldn't double post. If you have more things to say, edit your post, or ask yourself before posting "Do I have anything else to say?".

Off topic: After years of being on various forums i've developed a habit to not double post, But i've never know why exactly there's rules against it.. What's the harm of double posting?

On topic: What NightKawata said.

What happened to the Löve? A bit of hostility in this thread, of course its totally normal to criticize/review/tell your opinion, but it matters even more how you deliver it....
