This game is a realization of a dual-object mechanic idea I had several years ago but never had a reason to do, and it happened to work well enough with the theme that I figured I'd try it.
I always use Love2D for game jams because its such a pleasure to work in! I haven't checked out the other love2d games yet for ld29 but will do tonight.

Simply a great game man... at times I forgot I was playing an LD game, I really got into it. It's a really cool idea, and a great challenge. Keep it up

Was a really cool minigame. Took me some time to get used to the movements, but nothing that made the whole experience less good

Yes, Arrow Keys + Space support would be awesome, nothing to complain about though.. just takes a little bit of getting used to.
Edit: The "maximum fish you caught" would always stay at 0 for the instance of the game that you ran, but I did a simple fix on my local copy - attached if anyone cares. Also, I somehow broke the sound, it doesn't happen every time you run the game though.
