Audio recording functionality in the future?

Post by SnakeFace » Tue Oct 14, 2008 5:01 pm

Is there a possibility of some audio recording functionality in the next version of LOVE. It appears that the functionality is available in some SDL patch or something, just thinking it would be a nice addition to LOVE. :D

The next versions of LÖVE will use OpenAL, and I think recording is supported, so it's very possible. Not the most critical feature, but I'll add it to the task list. ^-^)

Well ... sure! Could you provide some code which illustrates what you want?

(Oh, and love.graphics.screenshot already exists).

No, sorry. Writing (in general) inside .love-files will most likely never be supported.
