I just got a new computer! And it runs WINDOWS!

Whenever I would browse the internet looking at games on my mac, I'd see a ton of awesome ones, but not be able to play them! And I would always be like "Man, when I get a PC, I'm gonna have the biggest library of amazing games ever!"

But of course, as soon as I get windows 7, my mind draws a blank. So I was wondering, what are some good games that I should get now that I have a Windows?

Free, not free, indie, AAA. Doesn't matter, I'd just appreciate some links and ideas to open my mind up to all of the new possibilites!

I dunno, Dwarf Fortress?

Stealth games:
Thief: Gold,
Thief: The Metal Age (Thief 2)

Platformers:
Spelunky

Horror:
Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth


All I can think of off the top of my head.
All of them are available on Steam, CoC, and Thief (1 & 2) are probably also available on GoG, and spelunky is up for free download a google search away.

You know, Vapor is a parody of Steam, which actually exists. But I recommend Spelunky, Don't Starve, TF2, Dragon Commander.

Well I'm not too used to Windows yet, and I pretty much know nothing about computers, but I learned how to get this information from google:

DXDiag gives better info. Also, your screenshot didn't listed your GPUs in.

Anyway, that's some massive computer you got there. I bet it's, like, five times the power of an average modern Mac, and for about ¼ less money.

some good games:

games thats related to communism or russian culuture(the best list): metro 2033, metro last light, papers please, tropico 3 & 4, red alert 3.

post apocalypse games: fallout new vegas, fallout 3 and Krater

games that involve capitalism: bioshock 1, bioshock 2, bioshock infinite.

it would likely run even faster with small OS's like linux mint.
