Rigel

Post by verilog »

Hi guys,
I'd like to share some of the stuff I've been working on. It’s still nowhere near finished, but I have gotten to the point where I need some feedback on the project. It's currently codenamed “Rigel”, here’s a small “trailer” I made to possibly recruit an artist buddy of mine:

I encourage you to give all kinds of comments!

Looks cool. The background/terrain graphics remind me of Earthworm Jim from the Sega Genesis :awesome:

I love the use of the Löve error screen for the company intro.

it looks cool, with very nice aesthetics. Sounds fun.
Did you make the art by yourself ?
The music sounds nice, too. Keep it up!

Yeah, that's spot on. Earthworm Jim is one of my favourite games,I have studied it for a long time!

Yes, it is a walking flying saucer. In the game files it's referred to as "thing".

Thanks a lot, Roland. Yeah I made all the "art", it is a mix of blender and stuff I drew myself, scanned into the game.

Ha! thanks man, but I can't do that. This is going off for free.
