Hello lovers!

Perhaps you recall my game, Xapalus for the Midsummer Jam Week 2013. There were two things about this game that stuck out for me:

1) It was fun
2) it was buggy as hell, mostly because luasocket2 is evil.

With that in mind, for the May 1GAM 2015, I decided to re-write the game from the ground up using the same assets, but substituting luasocket2 with lua-enet!

Xapalus Deluxe is a multiplayer, RTS offensive tower defense game. Build your economy and crush your enemies!

This version has been written from the ground up with stability in mind and user experience in the forefront.

The client is free to play, and you are welcome to play on the public servers. If you would like to host your own private server, you can help support my endeavors by paying $1 for the full version of "Xapalus Deluxe"!

As always, comments and feedback are greatly appreciated!

Yeah... I would have played but there was no one on. :P Do you think you could add an ai? That is a bit of a tall order I know but... please? :)

Thanks for the replies guys!

Making an AI bot wouldn't be hard, but making it a worthy adversary probably would be. Any suggestions on logic how to script it? Not only would it have to know how to "expand" and "balance" it's economy, but it would also have to know how to defend and attack.

I encourage you guys to find a buddy and play against them; I've found I've had the best experiences doing that!

Yeah a couple bots would probably keep the game fun. And give it a kick start. Online games are hard to have fun if the don't take off right away
