Carpal Tunnel Revolution!

Alright, here is my second project that I've coded up in LÖVE (the first being a moderately-complex platformer that may or may not ever see the light of day). As you may have guessed, it's a rhythm game, that I thought of way back when and finally decided to implement.

Gameplay and all that should be fairly straightforward for anyone who has ever played a rhythm game. All the arrows line up with the home row keys (optimized for QWERTY because I love you and hope for your success), enter selects in menus, backspace, arrowkeys, yadda yadda.

Due to the size of the game, I had to cut it down to just one song. I do have others, but most of them are either proof-of-concept or just plain mean anyway, so... ;-) That also means I had to host it elsewhere...

You can get the .love file here. Enjoy!

(EDIT: The .love file above is the new version of CTR, so you'll want to download that. If, for some reason, you like nostalgia or 1.0 software, here's the old version.)

I'm on a Swedish keyboard, so I can't use the rightmost button. I don't know what button it is for you, but for me it's Ö. :(

It's the QWERTY row I think
All the arrows line up with the home row keys (optimized for QWERTY because I love you and hope for your success)
That means: Q, W, E, R, T, Y, U, I, O, P
Correct me if I'm wrong ^^

Home row is where you place your hands when typing. For querty that would be:
ASDFGGHJKL;'\ (I don't know how much of it CTR uses)

Until ;, and I must say, it's UNPLAYABLY hard (for me, and I have no feel for rhythm whatsoever) on easy. But it seems like a fun idea.

EDIT: OMG EPIC LATE TYPO FIX!

Fun Fact: I actually use a Dvorak keyboard, so when it came to post I had to change everything to QWERTY for the other 99.9% of the world. I honestly don't know if there is a key constant for Ö (like 'love.key_ö'), so...
I must say, it's UNPLAYABLY hard (for me, and I'm have no idea of rhythm whatsoever) on easy.
Huh. Is it running smoothly and are the arrows lining up with the beat? Are you tapping to the beat and not the arrows?

As you could infer from the name, I made it to be quite hard. Unplayable? Not really...okay, yeah. Honestly, the best I could do was a low S on medium, and that's only because I wrote the step file and spent half the week practicing it so I could move on with development. ;-) Now HARD mode was meant to be unplayable, and specifically geared toward those addicts who like a good challenge. I would say it's easily possible, though, with a friend or two (or ten).
