Re: LÖVE3D

I'm wondering if Planimeter/lgameframework will eventually be something you'd want to use. I'm trying to make a partially API compatible version of LÖVE at the moment (sans LÖVE-specific things like particle systems) for the purpose of doing OpenGL 4 work with 3D. I'd like to move Grid off LÖVE even...

Re: Grid (game engine)

Try the releases. Master branch is broken at the moment. We're switching to a development cycle that will make master out stable branch in the future.

Re: Löve Frames - A GUI Library

The Grid engine's gui library is being separated from its codebase soon, at https://github.com/Planimeter/love-panel, though at the moment, it's not completely ported.

Re: Grid (game engine)

It's taking us some time, but we're rebuilding the tutorials section of the site now, too!

Yep! The API design is very similar, too.

Re: Grid (game engine)

Ah yes, good point! I think this is a result of the forums' new subforums. This thread also used to include the development of Grid's sample game, Vertex Adventure, which is provided as example code. It sounds like it's time to move the thread over to Libraries and Tools.

Re: Grid (game engine)

Hey there,

Releases are published on the Releases tab.

You can use `debug game.cmd` (Windows) or `debug game.sh` (Mac OS X and Linux) to start working on your game, and `build game.cmd` (Windows) or `build game.sh` (Mac OS X and Linux) to build releases.
